About the position

Jones Dairy Farm, a family-owned and operated business for 135 years, is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual that can demonstrate passion for creativity, technology, attention to detail, and data-driven strategy. The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for creating, updating, and organizing digital content to support sales and marketing efforts. This role involves ensuring that all traditional marketing messages and content are accurate, while frequently engaging in communications with consumers and customers through various e-marketing vehicles such as social media, websites, eblasts, and newsletters. The goal is to increase consumer trial, brand awareness, and loyalty. Additionally, the specialist will assist with image and asset management of digital data content to ensure customers have access to current product specifications and images. The position also includes updating the website and product locator content and creating barcodes for promotions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain collateral, newsletters, photography files, packaging files, and company brochures.
  • Support the Marketing Manager by providing relevant data and analysis of social & digital events, as well as ad hoc reports & analysis as needed.
  • Ensure digital images, specs, sell sheets, websites, etc. are always current and that when updates are made, they are communicated to the appropriate audience in a timely manner.
  • Manage and monitor Jones website, customer eblast, support websites, and social media platforms.
  • Assist with planning, coordinating, creating marketing materials, and executing Jones Sales and Marketing Events.
  • Execute online marketing projects and policies, coordinating coupon program, direct mailings, email broadcast campaigns, employee recruiting programs/events, trade shows, and public events.
  • Accept special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or Marketing.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient analytical skills with strong attention to detail and effective time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Nice-to-haves

  • 1 - 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop, various social media platforms, Google Analytics, and WordPress.
