About the position

The Digital Marketing Specialist will collaborate with franchise owners to provide training and guidance on local online marketing strategies. This role is consultative and strategy-focused, requiring marketing experience and a passion for helping others succeed. The specialist will work closely with various marketing teams to support franchisee and corporate initiatives, including the development and implementation of paid advertising campaigns and website content creation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate franchisee and vendor relationships as the paid advertising expert.
• Provide ongoing in-depth analysis of campaigns and seek new digital advertising opportunities.
• Evaluate and refine digital marketing campaigns with vendors to maximize lead generation and ROI.
• Work with brand marketing teams to create a holistic marketing plan for franchise owners.
• Assist in setting up third-party lead generation platforms and online listings.
• Deliver Richmond-based digital marketing training to new franchise owners.
• Lead email marketing campaign strategy and creation.
• Manage various brand-wide digital marketing projects alongside the Digital Marketing Manager.
• Collaborate with brand marketing, creative, and operations teams on projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• 2+ years of digital marketing experience, preferably in an agency setting.
• Hands-on experience with lead generation platforms like Google Ads and Meta.
• Creative thinker with the ability to use data and intuition for decision-making.
• Interest in learning new technology and marketing platforms.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and facilitation skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Energetic and enthusiastic attitude.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
