About the position

Michelli Weighing & Measurement is seeking a full-time Digital Marketing Specialist to lead marketing and customer development activities aimed at enhancing team building, customer service, and profitable sales. The role involves collaborating with product marketers and account managers to create and execute marketing strategies, manage digital presence, and support customer retention efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with manufacturer product marketers and account managers to create and execute marketing strategies.
  • Create case studies and customer success stories with input from account managers and management.
  • Perform market research and monitor competitors to stay updated with market trends.
  • Develop a marketing plan outlining short and long-term objectives.
  • Manage all website properties, including design, development, and SEO.
  • Develop media placement strategies and campaigns for digital and traditional advertising.
  • Perform graphic design and copywriting to produce content and marketing collateral.
  • Distribute marketing collateral to account managers after manager approval.
  • Coordinate marketing support for events like trade shows and conferences.
  • Research and present new software options to streamline prospecting and sales processes.
  • Interact with other departments to ensure exceptional customer service and timely problem-solving.
  • Prepare and review forecasts to achieve financial targets and control operational costs.
  • Strive to meet ISO9001 Quality Management System Objectives.
  • Follow directions from executive management and attend training sessions.
  • Meet deadlines and assist co-workers when possible.

Requirements

  • Two or more years of experience in marketing activities preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing preferred.
  • Experience in graphic design and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Digital marketing experience including SEO, SEM, and SMM.
  • Experience with Google webmaster tools and analytics is a plus.
  • Management training is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Project management and personnel management skills.
  • Strong customer service development skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in market research and analysis.
  • Familiarity with trade show and event marketing.
