About the position

The Digital Marketing Specialist at Groves Learning Organization (GLO) plays a crucial role in managing and executing the organization's marketing and communication strategies. This position collaborates with various internal stakeholders to ensure brand consistency and optimize marketing efforts across multiple channels. The specialist will oversee website management, email communications, and digital marketing campaigns, while also analyzing performance metrics to drive improvements and enhance user engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing strategies to reach target audiences and promote GLO's mission.
  • Ensure all materials meet and adhere to brand standards for internal and external use.
  • Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across email, social media, PPC, SEO, and content marketing.
  • Optimize marketing funnels and customer journeys to enhance user engagement and retention.
  • Analyze and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Create, publish, and market original content across social media accounts, including photography.
  • Utilize Marketo and Salesforce for lead generation and nurture campaigns, managing list segmentation and A/B testing.
  • Manage newsletters using the Marketo platform.
  • Oversee website content, publishing, optimization, and maintenance using WordPress.
  • Partner with agencies on SEO/SEM strategies and paid digital campaigns, analyzing performance for optimization.
  • Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing channels against goals, making recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.
  • 5-7 years' experience in digital marketing.
  • Marketing automation experience, specifically with Marketo and Salesforce is preferred.
  • Experience with WordPress is required.
  • Strong project management skills using project management tools, preferably Asana.
  • Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, Power BI).
  • Experience in SEO/SEM strategies and campaigns preferred.
  • Experience in creating content and marketing communications is required.
  • Demonstrated success in building and expanding an organization's presence across digital channels.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Google Suite and Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising engaging digital campaigns.
