About the position

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for the development and deployment of email, and supporting all digital technology media for the enterprise. You will report to the Database Marketing Manager. The position requires building email campaigns, setting up comprehensive email campaigns daily, developing master documents such as a promotions calendar, and collaborating with the Senior Email Marketing Specialist in preparation of creative requests. You will also work in partnership with the Marketing Analytics team and property Marketing departments to implement marketing plans. Additionally, the role involves building emails in HTML templates, troubleshooting technical issues, coordinating schedules for digital marketing projects, reviewing website content for accuracy, generating data for email programs, and tracking campaign performance.

Responsibilities

  • Build email campaigns including list pulls, email builds, QA/testing, scheduling, and basic reporting.
  • Set up and administer numerous comprehensive email campaigns daily.
  • Develop master documents such as a promotions calendar and cross-channel campaign schedule.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Email Marketing Specialist in preparation of creative requests.
  • Work in partnership with Marketing Analytics team and property Marketing departments to implement marketing plans.
  • Build emails in HTML templates, troubleshoot technical issues related to HTML templates, and source photos and graphics.
  • Coordinate the schedule and asset allocation for digital marketing projects including company website, microsites, social media, digital signage, and marquees.
  • Review website content for accuracy and compliance with regulations and style/brand guides.
  • Generate data and lists for all email programs and track campaign performance to apply best practices to future email campaigns.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associates degree or two years of directly related experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Excel.
  • Ability to perform data entry assignments, complete forms, documents, and written reports, analyze data and make sound recommendations.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to manage projects as assigned by the manager.
  • Previous marketing experience preferred.
