About the position

The Digital Marketing Specialist at Charlotte Douglas International Airport is responsible for developing and implementing digital marketing campaigns aimed at enhancing the airport's visibility and customer experience. This role involves extensive collaboration with various stakeholders and requires a strategic approach to optimize digital strategies and maximize return on investment (ROI).

Responsibilities

  • Organize and implement digital campaigns and strategies across multiple channels and platforms to market the Airport and enhance the customer experience.
  • Strategize with team members on passenger-focused web and mobile app content and contribute to social media content related to Airport services and programs.
  • Create and manage content for email marketing and loyalty programs, propose experimental user-focused tactics and pitch ideas for conversion tests.
  • Manage marketing data and performance reports received from various partners and implement an integrated marketing analytics solution.
  • Review and analyze data to optimize digital strategies based on marketing trends, consumer demand, competitor offerings, etc.
  • Develop presentations and reports using marketing metrics and key performance indicators to demonstrate marketing effectiveness.
  • Assist with the development of the annual marketing plan and budget to achieve objectives.
  • Other projects, duties and event support as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or closely related field.
  • 3 years of relevant experience in digital marketing.
  • Experience in digital marketing campaign development and implementation.
  • Experience with content management for email marketing, websites and apps.
  • Strong project management skills including attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects with competing priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office, Google Analytics and email marketing software.

Nice-to-haves

  • 5 years of hands-on experience in a digital marketing role with a demonstrated track record of driving growth.
