About the position

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, and managing digital marketing campaigns to achieve various business goals. This role requires a blend of technical skills, creativity, analytical thinking, and a deep understanding of the digital landscape. The specialist must be adaptable and stay updated with industry changes to ensure effective marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that aligns with the company's overall marketing and business objectives.
  • Create and curate high-quality content, including videos, infographics, and social media posts, to engage and inform the target audience.
  • Plan and manage pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaigns on platforms like Google Ads, Bing Ads, or social media advertising to drive traffic and conversions.
  • Create and execute email marketing campaigns, including newsletter creation, list management, and performance tracking.
  • Monitor and analyze digital marketing performance using tools like Google Analytics, providing regular reports and insights to improve strategies.
  • Identify areas for improvement on the website and in digital campaigns to increase conversion rates, such as optimizing landing pages and calls to action.
  • Conduct experiments to test different elements of digital marketing campaigns and make data-driven decisions to improve results.
  • Run and manage paid advertising campaigns on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter to reach a targeted audience.
  • Research and analyze competitors' digital marketing strategies to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Manage the digital marketing budget, allocate resources effectively, and ensure campaigns are cost-efficient.
  • Keep up with industry trends, algorithm changes, and emerging technologies to ensure the company's digital marketing efforts remain current and effective.
  • Ensure that all digital marketing activities comply with relevant regulations and data privacy laws, such as GDPR or CCPA.
  • Work closely with other team members, such as the graphic design, website manager, project manager and other marketing team members to maintain cohesive marketing efforts.
  • Continuously test and experiment with different digital marketing techniques and channels to identify what works best for the organization.
  • Segment the target audience into various groups based on demographics, behavior, and preferences to deliver more personalized content and messages.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in lead generation or a similar role, preferably within the relevant industry.
  • Proficiency in using lead generation tools and CRM software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective outreach and relationship-building.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset for assessing the success of lead generation campaigns.
  • Understanding of digital marketing, social media, and online advertising.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Sales and customer relationship management knowledge is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with compliance and data privacy regulations such as GDPR or CCPA.
