About the position

The Digital Marketing Specialist at Groves Learning Organization (GLO) plays a crucial role in managing and executing the organization's marketing and communication strategies. This position collaborates with various internal stakeholders to ensure brand consistency and optimize marketing efforts across multiple channels. The specialist will oversee the GLO website, manage email communications, and utilize project management tools to streamline marketing requests and workflows. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a passion for digital marketing and a commitment to enhancing user engagement and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing strategies to reach target audiences and promote GLO's mission and services.
  • Ensure all marketing materials adhere to brand standards for internal and external use.
  • Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across email, social media, PPC, SEO, and content marketing.
  • Optimize marketing funnels and customer journeys to enhance user engagement and retention.
  • Analyze and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Create, publish, and market original content across social media accounts, including photography.
  • Utilize Marketo and Salesforce for lead generation and nurture campaigns, managing list segmentation and A/B testing.
  • Manage newsletters using the Marketo platform and oversee website content and optimization.
  • Partner with agencies for SEO/SEM strategies and analyze performance for optimization recommendations.
  • Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing channels against goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.
  • 5-7 years' experience in digital marketing.
  • Marketing automation experience, specifically with Marketo and Salesforce is preferred.
  • Experience with WordPress is required.
  • Strong project management skills, preferably with Asana.
  • Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads).
  • Experience in SEO/SEM strategies and campaigns preferred.
  • Experience in creating content and marketing communications is required.
  • Demonstrated success in building and expanding an organization's digital presence.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Google Suite and Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding confidentiality.
