About the position

Ray Skillman Auto Group is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to join its in-house marketing team. This role involves managing various digital marketing projects, including Google Ads campaigns, social media advertising, email marketing, and lead generation. The specialist will collaborate closely with the Digital Marketing Director to execute strategies and achieve monthly goals, while staying updated on industry trends and changes.

Responsibilities

• Daily management and oversight of Google Ads campaigns
• Making weekly posts across multiple social media pages
• Writing ad copy
• Monitoring Google Analytics for trends and campaign performance
• Developing landing pages on the website using WordPress
• Monitoring all company websites for compliance and outdated offers
• Building, targeting, and sending monthly email campaigns
• Building monthly reports and effectively communicating results to management
• Communicating effectively and clearly explaining ideas
• Working on multiple projects and meeting deadlines
• Staying on top of the latest trends in marketing and automotive

Requirements

• Excellent writing and proofreading skills
• Highly motivated and excited to work on projects every day
• Must be a fast learner who enjoys and is open to learning new skills
• Passionate about marketing and its effects on business
• Background in some sort of marketing
• Prior experience using WordPress is a plus
• HTML coding and web building experience is a plus
• Basic understanding of web traffic and online conversions
• Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize projects
• Previous CRM experience is a plus
• Interest in creating engaging content
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Thrives in a team setting and enjoys new challenges
• Excellent communication and work ethic skills
• Exemplary organization skills and attention to detail

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in digital marketing (1 year preferred)
