About the position

Xylem is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to support various digital marketing activities, primarily focusing on email marketing, marketing automation, and data analytics. The role involves collaborating with marketing teams to optimize campaigns and enhance customer engagement through innovative digital strategies. This position offers a hybrid work environment and reports to the Global Digital Marketing Automation Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in various digital marketing activities with a primary focus on email creation and marketing automation support.
  • Build email lists, create and optimize emails for conversion, and adjust email marketing strategies based on analytics.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to test and improve campaign creative, copy, and audience targeting.
  • Support marketing and lead generation strategies to enhance sales for new and existing products.
  • Create and copywrite digital content such as web pages, emails, blogs, infographics, videos, and social media posts.
  • Manage, measure, and optimize campaigns to meet established KPIs.
  • Stay updated with the XA Martech stack and assist in its use.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 1 year focused on email marketing using tools like Marketo or Eloqua.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a relevant field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and good judgment, able to work autonomously.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Experience with content marketing and management.
  • Ability to keyboard 75% of the time and remain seated for extended periods.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to think strategically and plan tactically, with experience in data reporting and analysis.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and Marketo.
  • Experience with Google AdWords and Google Tag Manager.
  • Marketo Certification.
  • Fluency in HTML.
  • Thorough understanding of optimization techniques for email, web pages, and paid advertising.
