The specialist will collaborate with other digital marketing professionals to manage email marketing, direct mail, and other digital platforms, ensuring that all communications are aligned with the credit union's goals and values. In this role, the Digital Marketing Specialist will focus on developing and executing targeted email and direct mail campaigns, utilizing an analytical approach to optimize performance. Responsibilities include managing a campaign calendar, recommending audience targeting strategies, and analyzing data to inform marketing decisions. The specialist will also be tasked with creating engaging content for digital channels, including website alerts, landing pages, and blog posts, while conducting thorough analyses of campaign performance to drive improvements and maximize return on investment (ROI). Additionally, the specialist will maintain a positive brand image by responding to member inquiries and feedback on social media platforms. Staying updated on the latest trends in digital marketing and web design is essential for continuous improvement in strategies and tactics. The role may also involve assisting with events and charitable activities, as well as collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and protocols related to digital content.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize email and direct mail campaign calendar in partnership with the Sr. Digital & Product Marketing Specialist.
  • Recommend and execute audience targeting strategies across multiple channels, including email, direct mail, paid social, and digital banking.
  • Develop key insights through data analysis to inform strategy and campaign decisions.
  • Collaborate with the team to set and coordinate digital marketing strategy and website management.
  • Develop and execute member correspondence through digital channels such as website alerts, landing pages, emails, and blog posts.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of digital marketing campaigns and website performance using analytics tools.
  • Provide regular reports and insights on key performance metrics to stakeholders.
  • Create graphics for email, website, print, landing pages, and similar as needed.
  • Conduct market research to maximize advertising results based on target marketing and media selection.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing, web design, and user experience.
  • Maintain a positive brand image through timely responses to reviews and comments on social media platforms.
  • Support current and future software integrations between the website and other service providers.
  • Assist with the execution of ongoing branding campaigns, promotions, and content creation.
  • Participate in special events and overall branding functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Marketing or a business-related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in relatable positions with proven results in executing digital marketing strategies.
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics and website management.
  • Understanding of Google AdWords and Google Search Console is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to set and execute goals under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to engage with a diverse group of employees and members.
  • Strong analytical skills to research problems and propose solutions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice-to-haves

  • Intermediate understanding of paid media through various channels is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of industry products, services, and procedures.
