About the position

Lyle Machinery is a leading provider of equipment solutions, dedicated to offering top-notch products and services to our customers. LMC is a family owned and operated company founded in Mississippi. We are looking for a creative and energetic Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team and help us elevate our online presence across multiple platforms. The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for managing and updating content across the company's websites, expanding our social media presence, and collaborating with various departments to create engaging and informative content. This role is key to ensuring our brand message is consistently communicated across all channels, driving customer engagement and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and update content across Lyle Machinery's websites: www.lylemachinery.com, www.lylemachinerybobcat.com, www.lylerents.com.
  • Ensure website content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligns with brand messaging.
  • Apply SEO best practices to pages and products.
  • Create, edit, and publish engaging social media content across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Answer social DMs with a positive and helpful approach.
  • Develop and distribute newsletters that resonate with our target audience.
  • Increase the company's visibility on Google by adding and optimizing product listings and content for each store location.
  • Work closely with the Sales and IT departments to ensure content-driven leads are effectively funneled into the CRM.
  • Collaborate with all departments to create content that meets the needs of our customer base.
  • Design visually appealing graphics and flyers for both digital and print use.
  • Provide monthly reports on content performance, with actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor Google Analytics to evaluate websites.
  • Assist in creating a budget for advertising.
  • Assist in coordinating events as needed.
  • Support the team with additional tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years' experience in Social Media Marketing.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.
  • Proven experience with social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn; TikTok experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in WordPress for website content management.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO, SEM, and content marketing principles.
  • Strong understanding of social media guidelines and best practices for content creation.
  • Organized & able to own their responsibilities.
  • Great customer service skills.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to create visually engaging content using graphic design tools.
  • Experience with paid social media advertising.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with graphic design tools for content creation.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics for performance monitoring.
