About the position

Collette is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing team. This is a hybrid role based at our headquarters in Pawtucket, RI. As the longest-running tour operator in North America, Collette leads the industry in innovation and expertise. The Digital Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in the implementation and management of paid search ad campaigns, focusing on customer acquisition and retention. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience executing and optimizing SEM marketing campaigns, contributing to the growth of Collette's digital commerce business. In this role, the Digital Marketing Specialist will support the planning, execution, and optimization of paid search marketing campaigns aimed at generating high-quality leads across both domestic and international markets. The specialist will monitor monthly ad budgets and pacing, ensuring that lead generation and acquisition targets are met. Additionally, the role involves researching and mining search query data to identify new keywords that can be targeted to prospective travelers. The specialist will also assist in creating ad copy and landing page content, coordinating with the in-house Creative team to meet needs and priorities. The position requires compiling data for month-end reporting to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement. Regular analysis of performance metrics and data will be essential to identify areas of opportunity to achieve campaign performance goals. The Digital Marketing Specialist will implement, monitor, and troubleshoot tracking analytics tags across ad platforms, Google Analytics 4, and marketing automation/CRM tools. This role is expected to grow as the digital commerce business continues to expand, making it an exciting opportunity for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Support planning, execution and optimization of paid search marketing campaigns with a focus on generating high quality leads across domestic and international markets
  • Monitor monthly ad budgets and pacing while ensuring lead generation and acquisition targets are met
  • Research and mine search query data to find new keywords to expand and target prospective travelers
  • Assist in the creation of ad copy and landing page content and coordinate with in-house Creative team on needs, requirements and priorities
  • Compile data for month-end reporting to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
  • Regularly analyze performance metrics and data to identify areas of opportunity to achieve campaign performance goals
  • Implement, monitor and troubleshoot tracking analytics tags across ad platforms, Google Analytics 4 and marketing automation/CRM tools

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
  • 2+ years of experience in Paid Search / SEM / Analytics, either in-house or agency-side
  • In-platform Google Ads management experience is required; Microsoft Ads experience preferred
  • Demonstrated understanding of audience building/targeting techniques
  • Data analysis and strong Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and Power BI preferred
  • Experience working with HubSpot or similar marketing automation tool
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to relay information concisely
  • Ability to think creatively about how to solve problems
  • Familiarity with A/B testing

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the travel industry is a plus, but not required
  • Helpful Certifications: Google Ads, Google Analytics, HubSpot
