The Digital Marketing Specialist position is a contract-to-hire role focused on coordinating and distributing digital communications across the enterprise. This position is integral to the Marketing and Experience team, responsible for delivering effective digital communications to various constituent audiences. The specialist will manage applications that facilitate digital marketing communications and serve as a subject matter expert in digital communications, providing insights and best practices to stakeholders. The role requires a local presence in Minnesota, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows for periodic onsite collaboration. In this role, the Digital Marketing Specialist will primarily oversee email marketing distribution, which constitutes about 70% of the responsibilities. This includes managing existing email programs, utilizing tools such as Journey Builder and SMS Text (Mobile Connect), and creating email messages in Marketing Cloud. The specialist will be responsible for the entire email distribution process, including content creation, mailing list management, testing, scheduling, and distribution. Additionally, they will manage SMS Text communications, accounting for 15% of the role, where they will serve as a subject matter expert for SMS campaign strategy and development, creating and sending bulk SMS messages to support consumer acquisition and retention efforts. The remaining 15% of the role involves content proofreading, writing, and editing. The specialist will ensure that all digital marketing communications are free of errors and adhere to the highest standards of quality before publishing. This includes proofreading content for spelling and grammar, as well as editing proposed copy to enhance clarity and engagement. The position reports directly to the Manager of Member Experience Operations, and candidates should be prepared for a structured interview process that includes multiple rounds of interviews.
