About the position

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing and rolling out SEO Optimization, Social Media Campaigns, Email Activation, Paid Advertising, and Promotions for Sprinkler Warehouse. This role requires close collaboration with the Sprinkler Warehouse Digital Operations team and the Corporate Digital Marketing Department of Heritage Landscape Supply Group to achieve marketing goals. The specialist will be expected to report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and demonstrate progress on enhancements. A strong hands-on experience in Digital Marketing and eCommerce businesses is essential for success in this position. The Digital Marketing Specialist will build strategies for growth and customer acquisition for eCommerce, helping to elevate Sprinkler Warehouse to the next level. Responsibilities include supporting the eCommerce Content Specialist in the development of product detail pages or content pages that are robust, SEO optimized, and keyword-rich. The specialist will also collaborate with the in-house web team to create landing pages and optimize user experience. Management of Google ads/analytics, Amazon advertising, and all paid social media channels is a critical part of the role, along with staying updated on current digital channels. In addition, the specialist will coordinate marketing campaigns with sales activities, prepare marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data, and develop, execute, and lead eCommerce paid media campaigns. The role requires delivering actionable insights and recommendations to improve future performance, efficiency, and spend. The specialist will work with third-party vendors to manage Google Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaigns, identify KPIs, track performance metrics, and utilize these insights to develop new business strategies. Presenting and communicating progress against KPIs, measuring and reporting performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assessing against goals (ROI and KPIs) are also key responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Digital Operations team and Corporate Digital Marketing Department to achieve marketing goals.

  • Support the eCommerce Content Specialist in developing robust, SEO optimized, and keyword-rich content pages.

  • Develop audience growth strategies leveraging organic acquisition and social media channels.
  • Deploy email marketing campaigns based on promotions and customer behavior.
  • Track progress and drive continuous improvement to acquisition funnels.
  • Plan and organize promotional presentations and update calendars.
  • Manage Social Media Channels and Location Listing, creating content that drives engagement.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop content strategy and promotional calendar.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in various digital marketing roles.
  • A minimum of two years of exposure to a marketing automation platform (e.g., Hubspot, Marketo, or Pardot).
  • Knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Knowledge of on-page SEO techniques and best practices.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills and aptitude for cultivating strong working relationships.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, presentation, troubleshooting, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Creative, open-minded, and enthusiastic about seeking new solutions to challenges.
  • Ability to work independently or within a larger team.
  • Passionate about digital marketing and keeping up with the latest trends for eCommerce.
  • Knowledge of email marketing and marketing automation techniques for eCommerce, with experience in email marketing platforms (e.g., Hubspot, Pardot, Dot Digital).
  • Experience in eCommerce B2C channel required, preferably with Magento platform.
  • Great team player with good work ethics and respect for organizational structure.
  • Organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment without losing sight of projects.
  • Required hands-on experience creating paid advertising campaigns.
  • Knowledge of UTM parameters best practices for Google Analytics.
  • Knowledge of Google Tag Manager for tag implementation and custom event tracking.
  • Email platform software knowledge required to capture leads.

  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma (or equivalent) with significant experience will be considered.
