About the position

Trinity Christian College is seeking a dedicated and skilled Digital Marketing Specialist to join its Marketing and Communications Department. This full-time position is based on-site at the college's location in Palos Heights, IL. The Digital Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, tracking, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns across various channels. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of current marketing tools and strategies, enabling them to lead integrated digital campaigns from inception to execution effectively. In this role, the Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for planning and executing comprehensive paid digital marketing strategies. This includes managing SEO/SEM efforts, overseeing marketing database management, executing email marketing campaigns, and handling social media initiatives, particularly on platforms like Meta. The specialist will also be tasked with display advertising campaigns, ensuring that all digital marketing efforts align with the college's goals and objectives. A significant aspect of this position involves measuring and reporting on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns. The specialist will assess results against predefined goals, such as return on investment (ROI) and key performance indicators (KPIs). By identifying trends and insights, the Digital Marketing Specialist will utilize data to optimize marketing spend and improve overall performance. Collaboration with the Digital Media Manager will be essential, as the specialist will brainstorm and develop innovative growth strategies to enhance the college's digital presence. Additionally, the Digital Marketing Specialist will plan, execute, and analyze experiments and conversion tests to enhance campaign effectiveness. Strong analytical skills will be necessary to evaluate the customer experience across various channels and touchpoints. The specialist will also be responsible for instrumenting conversion points and optimizing user funnels to drive higher engagement and conversion rates. Staying updated with emerging technologies will be crucial, as the specialist will provide feedback and recommendations for adoption where applicable. Other duties may be assigned to support the vision and mission of Trinity Christian College.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute comprehensive paid digital marketing strategies, including SEO/SEM, marketing database management, email marketing, social media (Meta), and display advertising campaigns.
  • Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, assessing results against predefined goals such as ROI and KPIs.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, communication or related field or a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a similar role is required.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, with at least two years preferred.
  • Demonstrable experience with managing SEO/SEM, marketing databases, email marketing, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns.
  • Highly creative with a track record of identifying target audiences and developing engaging digital campaigns.
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
  • Proficiency in setting up and analyzing A/B and multivariate experiments.
  • Working knowledge of ad-serving tools and Google AdWords campaign setup and optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision making.
