About the position

John C. Flood, Inc. is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to support the VP of Marketing & Integrations in executing and enhancing marketing programs. This role involves managing social media accounts, assisting with website management, and contributing to community events, all while ensuring alignment with company and client goals. The ideal candidate will be organized, able to multitask, and meet tight deadlines while having a strong background in various marketing functions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and build relationships for cause/charity initiatives.
• Manage social media accounts and develop monthly posting programs.
• Collaborate with the digital agency to meet call and lead goals.
• Assist with website management, including content updates using WordPress.
• Act as the main point of contact for planning local community and promotional events.
• Design promotional materials such as signs, flyers, and brochures.
• Manage online reviews and reputation across platforms like Google and Yelp.
• Review and adjust email marketing campaigns as needed.
• Maintain and update the annual marketing plan and budget.
• Conduct market research and prepare reports on trends and customer behavior.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or communications.
• 3 years of experience in digital marketing or a similar role.
• Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing.
• Experience with data analytics software for research purposes.
• Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Above average knowledge of WordPress for website management.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
• Experience with social media management platforms like Loomly.
• Working knowledge of HTML and design software.
• Expertise in social media platforms and content writing.
• Knowledge of Adobe Design Suite products (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
