About the position

The Digital Marketing Strategist position at the Palm Beach County Black Business Investment Corporation (BBIC) and Pathway Capital Funding (PCF) is designed for a creative and analytical individual who will drive digital marketing initiatives to enhance the organization's online presence and support its mission of equitable lending. This part-time role involves managing paid media campaigns, SEO strategies, and social media marketing, specifically targeting B2B and budding entrepreneurs. The strategist will collaborate with the marketing team to optimize campaigns and create engaging content across various platforms, while also fostering relationships with borrowers and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop, launch, and optimize paid search campaigns across Google AdWords.
  • Conduct keyword research, AB testing, and budget allocations for Google Ads campaigns.
  • Track KPIs to measure campaign success and optimize ROI.
  • Perform ongoing keyword research and optimization to enhance organic traffic through SEO.
  • Implement on-page SEO optimizations including meta tags and internal linking.
  • Monitor technical SEO efforts such as page speed and mobile-friendliness.
  • Develop content strategies across channels, including blog posts and optimized web copy.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and market research to adjust strategy accordingly.
  • Create engaging content for social media that aligns with brand voice.
  • Execute comprehensive social media strategies and marketing plan initiatives.
  • Analyze engagement and performance data on social media channels.
  • Leverage paid social media campaigns to drive awareness and conversions.
  • Manage community engagement and respond to customer queries.
  • Create and expand brand identity across all social platforms.
  • Craft compelling taglines, headlines, and content that elevate the brand message.
  • Create a content calendar and align marketing efforts with broader brand strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience in digital marketing with a focus on SEO and Google Ads.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, SEMrush, and other SEO tools.
  • Proven expertise in social media platforms and paid media management.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proven ability to craft successful SEO strategies and manage PPC campaigns.
  • Strong copywriting skills for both SEO and social media content creation.
  • Strong time management skills with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Photoshop, videography, and photo editing skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and content management systems.
  • Experience with programmatic advertising.
  • Experience with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (2 years preferred).
  • Video editing experience (2 years preferred).
  • Experience with Constant Contact and SurveyMonkey.
