About the position

TerryTown RV is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to enhance the online presence of our multi-store RV dealership group. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in maximizing online impact through various digital marketing strategies. This role involves managing content across multiple online platforms, including our website and social media channels, ensuring that all listings are current with accurate content, pricing, and engaging visuals. The Digital Marketing Specialist will collaborate with outside vendors and content providers to produce compelling digital content that promotes the dealership, its salespeople, and individual products. The responsibilities include developing and scheduling digital content for social media platforms, maintaining our Google Business listings with up-to-date information, and executing mass email campaigns with engaging content. The specialist will also be responsible for creating and implementing effective strategies for Google Ads and SEO/SEM, targeting RV intenders and lookalikes across various platforms. Monthly budgets for SEM will be reviewed and recommended to management, and the results of all campaigns will be reported regularly. In addition to content management, the role involves reputation management, where the specialist will respond to online reviews, promote positive customer feedback, and work to turn buyers into net promoters. The position requires coordination with management and oversight of the content production team, including training and directing videographers and photographers. The successful candidate will also engage the sales team in dealership-level videos and events, providing training on best practices for grassroots online self-marketing. This full-time position is based in Grand Rapids, MI, with regular travel to other dealership locations within the state. The role is expected to evolve with changing market conditions and may require flexibility in hours to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Manage content across various online platforms including the website and social media.
  • Ensure listings are up-to-date with pictures, videos, and accurate content as directed by management.
  • Participate in creative/content meetings with web platform providers.
  • Develop, schedule, and produce digital content to promote the dealership and its products.
  • Maintain accurate Google Business listings with correct hours and updated images.
  • Create compelling content for mass email campaigns.
  • Develop and implement engaging content and strategies for Google Ads and SEO/SEM.
  • Review and recommend monthly budgets for SEM to management.
  • Report results of campaigns to management.
  • Respond to online reviews and promote positive customer feedback.
  • Oversee and train the content production team, including videographers and photographers.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant leadership/project management experience in e-commerce and corporate social media.
  • Proficiency with WordPress and other content management systems.
  • Experience with Google Analytics and other metrics tools.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Detail-oriented and analytical thinker with a passion for digital marketing trends.
