About the position

The Digital Marketing Specialist at LIMRA will play a crucial role in managing and executing marketing campaigns, focusing on email marketing, customer segmentation, and web development. This position requires a creative individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with various teams to enhance member engagement and support marketing initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and maintain email-marketing campaigns and templates with an emphasis on responsive designs, personalization, and automation.
  • Support audience development efforts for marketing by nurturing targeted contact lists in Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot).
  • Conduct data grooming in Salesforce to optimize contact information and member demographics.
  • Develop segmented lists based on engagement behaviors and constituency with prospects.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Specialists and Segmentation Specialists to execute creative email campaigns.
  • Minimize list decay and unsubscribes while increasing productivity of email campaigns.
  • Recommend and deliver appropriate information, benchmarks, and metrics by collecting data and identifying trends.
  • Aggregate and evaluate data related to marketing activities, programs, campaigns, and tactics.
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders and internal business partners to understand their needs.
  • Design and deliver web pages through layout, branding, and functionality, demonstrating contemporary web-design trends.
  • Update content and graphics as needed, coordinating with graphic designers.
  • Create and deliver effective marketing promotions, e-newsletters, targeted landing pages, messaging, and sales tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree; marketing or business degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years' work experience in a marketing position required.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).
  • Proficiency with digital marketing and email marketing platforms (such as Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot), Exact Target, Constant Contact, etc.).
  • Experience with content management systems; working knowledge of HTML and CSS for web and email design.
  • Fast learner who is flexible and able to respond to frequently changing business needs.
  • Exhibit a curious and creative mindset.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and resourceful; able to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage projects through completion.
  • Strong communication skills required to work effectively with internal partners and clients.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with web design and contemporary web-design trends.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.
