About the position

As a Digital Marketing Specialist at Eppendorf, you will play a crucial role in driving the marketing team's activities and ensuring that deliverables are achieved on time. This position requires a proactive individual who can provide operational support for digital marketing tasks and be the go-to person for various marketing initiatives. You will support digital marketing channels such as email, social media, and search, while also owning the reporting and tracking for digital marketing activities and overall campaign results. Your responsibilities will include managing marketing automation programs, ensuring the email calendar is up-to-date, and creating engaging content for social media platforms. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing paid search and display campaigns, optimizing digital ads, and ensuring that all tracking metrics are accurately recorded. In this role, you will also oversee the purchase orders for digital channels, ensuring that contracts and agreements are submitted correctly and tracked efficiently. You will work closely with stakeholders to optimize campaigns and provide recommendations for improvement based on data analysis. The position requires a strong understanding of marketing automation systems, digital platforms, and tools, as well as excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-cultural teams. Responsibilities

  • Drive activities for the marketing team ensuring deliverables are achieved on-time
  • Provide operational support for digital marketing tasks
  • Support digital marketing channels such as email, social media, and search
  • Own reporting tracking for digital marketing activities and overall campaign results
  • Develop programs in marketing automation platform (Marketo)
  • Ensure email calendar is up-to-date and create internal and external emails
  • Build and deploy social media posts with optimized layout and hashtags
  • Manage keywords & ads for paid search and GDN campaigns
  • Create digital ads for 3rd party websites according to the editorial calendar
  • Make ongoing recommendations for optimization of individual activities and overall campaigns
  • Ensure UTM criteria are in tracking system and create UTM codes for digital channels
  • Build slides for reporting as requested
  • Oversee purchase orders for digital channels and submit contracts and agreements for POs

Requirements

  • Completed Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or similar concentration
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of related work experience in marketing
  • Life science industry experience desirable
  • Experience in an international and matrixed organization
  • Skilled in project management to achieve deliverables on time and in-scope
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English; Portuguese and Spanish an advantage
  • Takes initiative to solve problems independently and provides recommendations for improvement
  • Flexible and pro-active when faced with obstacles
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of marketing automation systems (Marketo)
  • Experience with digital platforms & tools (Google Ads, GDN, Google Analytics, Meta, LinkedIn)
  • Familiar with CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics a plus)

Nice-to-haves
