About the position

The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for creating visually appealing graphics for branding, social media marketing, and other marketing materials. As a hybrid position of graphic design and marketing professional, this person should be able to help come up with concepts and copy for outbound marketing materials. Work involves collaborating with the marketing team and other departments to develop engaging content that resonates with both our target audiences internally and externally.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to execute multi-format creative assets while maintaining brand identity and integrity.
  • Develop and execute creative concepts for digital assets, including social media campaigns, advertisements, animated GIFs/videos, web projects, web and email banners, decks, and other online promotions.
  • Own the design development process from the initial concept phase through to final production, while effectively updating stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Provide concept and material design assets for cause marketing events, sponsorships, and employee events.
  • Maintain and enhance the companys digital presence by overseeing digital platforms, ensuring brand consistency and engagement across websites, social media, and other online channels.
  • Respond to Google Business Profile reviews and other feedback mechanisms.
  • Source content from Sales team for writing periodic agent emails and notifications, ensuring thorough follow-up to obtain all required details.
  • Serve as a Security First Insurance brand ambassador, ensuring proper use of the company logo and adherence to the companys brand guidelines.

Requirements

  • One to three (1-3) years of relevant experience
  • Experience in designing content for social media networks such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook
  • Experience with designing brochures, email templates and sales fliers
  • Experience with implementing brand standards throughout a variety of design collateral
  • Professional training and intermediate experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat)

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, graphic design or related field from an accredited institution
  • Three to five (3-5) years of relevant experience a plus
  • Advertising agency experience
  • Experience with Canva
  • Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp
  • Experience with a CRM system such as Salesforce
