About the position

The Digital Marketing Specialist will be an integral part of Quest's Agile Marketing team, focusing on the execution of the company's Digital Marketing strategy. This role is pivotal in supporting the implementation and governance of enterprise Martech systems and processes, ensuring that tools are used optimally and compliantly to enhance campaign execution and manage various websites hosted on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). The position emphasizes collaboration with marketing peers and cross-functional colleagues to effectively execute digital marketing tactics and campaigns, utilizing various Martech systems such as AEM for website management, Eloqua for email deployment, and Yext for location management. The Digital Marketing Specialist will drive collaboration between internal business partners and IT resources, ensuring that marketing needs are met efficiently. This is not an IT role; it is firmly rooted in marketing, reporting directly to the Manager of Digital Marketing Strategy. The position is office-based in Secaucus, NJ, with a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

  • Function as a 'Power User' of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Adobe Target to support website management and A/B testing.
  • Conduct A/B testing and leverage analytics data on KPI performance to improve website designs and workflows.
  • Create and manage documentation and processes to ensure smooth vendor-supported edits.
  • Assist in managing user groups, generating reports, and organizing assets within the CMS and DAM.
  • Lead training sessions for new users and new features, both online and in person.
  • Provide support to marketers on their digital campaign efforts as an active member of the digital marketing Agile team.
  • Liaise with the IT department to open tickets on behalf of marketers and ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Develop actionable recommendations based on statistical analysis to help content owners improve their content.
  • Utilize various analytics tools to track, report, and analyze website performance and visitor behavior.
  • Create QR codes for marketing campaigns and other digital initiatives.
  • Support the Manager of Digital Marketing Strategy in executing Quest's digital engagement strategy, including analytics and web publishing tools.
  • Collaborate with peers and agencies to support the digital aspects of marketing campaigns.
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings to provide insights and updates on digital marketing efforts.
  • Monitor the digital team mailbox to identify and address emerging issues.
  • Hold office hours to assist AEM stakeholders and provide ongoing support.
  • Maintain the AEM training resource site with engaging and informative training aids.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, including web content strategy, development, and management.
  • Knowledge of website content management systems (CMS) is required.
  • Strong web analytics skills and experience are essential.
  • Proven ability to turn raw data into meaningful analysis.
  • Experience with web analytics tools, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and AdWords.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing tools is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices is a plus.
  • Experience with Eloqua or other marketing automation systems is a plus.
  • Proficiency in software programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills are necessary.
  • Training or teaching experience is a plus.
  • Experience in developing and implementing SEO strategies is a plus.
  • Experience working within an agile project management structure is a plus.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, diagnostic, lab, or consumer packaged goods sectors is a plus.
