About the position

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing and executing various digital marketing strategies, including SEO optimization, social media campaigns, email marketing, and paid advertising for Sprinkler Warehouse. This role involves collaboration with the Digital Operations team and the Corporate Digital Marketing Department to achieve growth and customer acquisition goals for eCommerce. The specialist will report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and demonstrate progress in enhancing digital marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Build strategies for growth and customer acquisition for eCommerce.
  • Support eCommerce Content Specialist in developing SEO optimized product detail and content pages.
  • Collaborate with the web team to create landing pages and optimize user experience.
  • Manage Google Ads, Amazon advertising, and all paid social media channels.
  • Stay updated on current digital channels and trends.
  • Onboard, optimize, and write relevant content for social media.
  • Coordinate marketing campaigns with sales activities.
  • Prepare marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data.
  • Develop and lead eCommerce paid media campaigns, including proposal development and campaign maintenance.
  • Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Work with third-party vendors to manage Google Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaigns.
  • Identify KPIs and track performance metrics to develop new business strategies.
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Develop audience growth strategies leveraging organic acquisition and social media channels.
  • Deploy email marketing campaigns based on promotions and customer behavior.
  • Track progress and drive continuous improvement to acquisition funnels through analysis and optimization.
  • Plan and organize promotional presentations and update calendars.
  • Manage social media channels and location listings, creating engaging content.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in digital marketing roles.
  • Minimum of 2 years of exposure to a marketing automation platform (e.g., Hubspot, Marketo, Pardot).
  • Knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Knowledge of on-page SEO techniques and best practices.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills and ability to cultivate strong relationships.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, presentation, troubleshooting, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Creative and enthusiastic about seeking new solutions to challenges.
  • Ability to work independently or within a team.
  • Passionate about digital marketing and eCommerce trends.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Hubspot, Pardot, Dot Digital).
  • Experience in eCommerce B2C channel, preferably with Magento platform.
  • Hands-on experience creating paid advertising campaigns.
  • Knowledge of UTM parameters best practices for Google Analytics.
  • Knowledge of Google Tag Manager for tag implementation and tracking.
  • Strong knowledge of website functionality and purpose.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
  • High energy level, self-motivated, and demonstrates initiative.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or significant experience in lieu of a degree.
