About the position

Sanford Health is seeking a Digital Marketing Strategist to join our Integrated Marketing team at the GSS National Campus in Sioux Falls, SD. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $27.50 to $44.00 per hour, depending on experience. The Digital Marketing Strategist will work closely with Digital Marketing Specialists and other team members to develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies aimed at enhancing the reach and effectiveness of our marketing efforts. This role is pivotal in coordinating email and website strategies, ensuring that various business units within Sanford Health are effectively represented online. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in digital marketing technologies and best practices to create thoughtful strategies that optimize Sanford Health's website properties. Responsibilities will include ideating and executing various email marketing campaigns, collaborating with Performance Media to develop effective campaign landing pages, and partnering with the Content team to enhance website content for search engine optimization (SEO). The Digital Marketing Strategist will also be responsible for maintaining the digital presence of Sanford Health, ensuring that all digital marketing initiatives align with key business objectives. To excel in this role, candidates should possess a strong work ethic, a perpetual curiosity for learning, and a keen attention to detail. The position requires a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process improvement and streamlining operations within the digital marketing framework.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing Specialists to develop comprehensive digital marketing strategies.
  • Create and execute email marketing campaigns that support key business initiatives.
  • Optimize Sanford Health website properties for improved performance and user experience.
  • Work with Performance Media to design effective campaign landing pages.
  • Partner with the Content team to enhance website content for SEO.
  • Maintain digital marketing efforts across various Sanford Health business units.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, computer science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in digital marketing or a related field.
  • Experience with web content management systems, preferably Sitecore.
  • Proven ability to create and execute email marketing strategies, with experience in HubSpot or Salesforce preferred.
  • Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and other web standards.
  • Understanding of Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, particularly in relation to conversion optimization.
  • Familiarity with SiteImprove is a plus.
  • Google Certification is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with integrated marketing strategies.
