About the position

The Digital Marketing Strategy Manager at Landry's Corporate Office will play a pivotal role in enhancing the online marketing strategies for Landry's, Inc. This position involves a comprehensive audit of the existing SEO, PPC, and online marketing efforts, followed by the development and execution of tailored strategies to optimize Search Marketing accounts across various platforms. The manager will be responsible for a range of tasks including keyword research, ad copy creation, account setup, campaign execution, and ongoing optimization of paid media accounts. The role requires a deep understanding of metrics such as Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), Cost Per Click (CPC), and Cost Per Acquisition (CPA), which will be defined at the onset of each campaign. In this role, the manager will identify target keywords and provide both on-page and off-page recommendations for SEO, ensuring that the coding, structure, content, and linking practices align with best practices. The successful candidate will track and report on the success of campaigns, providing monthly optimization recommendations based on performance data. A strong background in SEO, data analysis, and project management is essential, as the manager will need to balance established processes with creative thinking to achieve success for their assigned accounts. The Digital Marketing Strategy Manager will also be responsible for planning, managing, and executing paid search campaigns, which includes daily management of campaign budgets, bid management, and the development of negative keyword strategies. The role requires excellent communication skills to convey recommendations to management and to collaborate effectively with various teams. The manager will need to demonstrate adaptability to change and the ability to multitask, ensuring that all campaigns meet their objectives and contribute to the overall success of the company’s online marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Identify target keywords and provide on-page and off-page recommendations for SEO.
  • Track and report on the success of engagements, providing monthly optimization recommendations.
  • Execute successful SEO campaigns for clients, either in-house, on a consultant basis, or as part of an agency.
  • Define customized SEO and PPC strategies to meet unique needs of concepts.
  • Analyze lead or sales performance data, rankings data, crawl logs, and site analysis tools to identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Create and review detailed campaign performance data and strategic roadmaps.
  • Plan, manage, and execute paid search/PPC campaigns, including account setup and strategy development.
  • Manage ongoing optimization efforts to meet campaign objectives, including budget management and ad creative revisions.
  • Assist with management communications around paid search knowledge and recommendations.
  • Forecast and plan paid search growth, regularly communicating opportunities.

Requirements

  • Google AdWords and Bing Ads Certification.
  • Technical understanding of SEO best practices and working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with SEO applications and web analytics tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and project management ability.
  • Superior analytical skills and ability to draw critical analysis from data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across different teams.
  • Proven advanced capability in paid search and project management.
