About the position

Outlier is seeking experienced German writers to assist in training generative artificial intelligence models. This freelance opportunity allows for remote work with flexible hours, enabling contributors to work at their convenience.

Responsibilities

• Read German text to rank a series of responses produced by an AI model.
• Write a short story in German about a given topic.
• Assess whether a piece of German text produced by an AI model is factually accurate.

Requirements

• Fluency in German.
• Experience as a professional translator.
• Professional writing experience (copywriter, journalist, technical writer, editor, etc.).
• Enrollment in or completion of an undergraduate program in a humanities field or related to writing.
• Enrollment in or completion of a graduate program related to creative writing.
