About the position

The Digital Media Account Executive at KTAL NBC 6 is responsible for generating digital advertising revenue by engaging with established agencies and developing new business prospects. This role involves leveraging Nexstar's comprehensive suite of digital products to provide tailored advertising solutions to local businesses, thereby enhancing their marketing efforts and driving revenue growth for the station.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, qualify, develop, close, and grow new digital advertising business.
• Identify and prospect new clients while maintaining a healthy pipeline of potential leads.
• Make in-person sales calls on existing and prospective clients.
• Establish credible relationships with local businesses and their decision makers.
• Conduct in-depth needs analysis to understand each client's unique advertising goals.
• Develop and present customized digital advertising solutions.
• Maintain assigned accounts while developing new accounts.
• Responsible for order entry, contracts, follow-up, and collections.
• Facilitate the creation of client's ads with the production team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or proven work-related experience.
• Minimum one year's experience in business-to-business sales, preferably in digital marketing or the media field.
• A strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, and modern office equipment.
• Proficiency in MS Office products required.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and a strong team player.
• Detail-oriented with problem solving and analytical skills.
• Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and ability to multi-task.
• Demonstrable knowledge of common digital platforms & ecosystems.
