About the position

As a Digital Media Buyer, you will play a crucial role in the execution, management, and optimization of digital media campaigns, primarily focusing on search campaigns while also engaging with programmatic display, native, and social channels. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to expand their expertise in digital advertising, particularly within the Energy and Government sectors. You will be responsible for owning the digital buying for assigned accounts, collaborating closely with media strategists to develop and implement effective media plans. Your role will not only involve managing campaigns but also driving their performance through strategic thinking and data analysis. Responsibilities

  • Execute and optimize digital media campaigns across various online marketing channels and platforms (Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, The Trade Desk, etc.) to meet set objectives and performance benchmarks.
  • Conduct keyword research and analysis, reviewing search copy and providing constructive suggestions; manage budgets in line with strategy and ensure that monthly spend is on target.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of digital campaigns, ensuring progress toward budget and KPI goals, and making necessary adjustments for optimal performance.
  • Utilize understanding in digital media and analytics to maximize campaign outcomes for assigned accounts.
  • Regularly analyze campaign data to identify trends and insights that can inform strategy and improve performance.
  • Oversee monthly reporting for each campaign, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement using tools such as Google Looker, Microsoft Excel, and Google Analytics.
  • Collaborate actively with team members to contribute to a positive work environment and participate in collaborative efforts for campaign success.
  • Embrace opportunities for professional development and learning, staying updated on industry trends and advancements in digital advertising.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (one year of related experience can substitute for one year of education).
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in Google Ads and Bing executing and managing search campaigns.
  • 2+ years of experience in keyword research and analysis.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with campaign buying across online marketing channels such as paid social, programmatic display, and video on digital advertising platforms.
  • Experience implementing pixels for data collection and conversion tracking on websites.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure.
