About the position

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction according to curricular needs associated with the B.A. Degree in Digital Media Design.
• Teach across design disciplines at lower and upper levels, including Web Design, Video production/editing, and interactive design.
• Utilize the Adobe Creative Suite and industry-standard design software for instruction.
• Use CANVAS to convey course information and document student success.
• Collaborate closely with resident faculty and course coordinators.

Requirements

• Master's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent with 18 graduate credit hours in the field of instruction.
• Extensive knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and industry-standard design software.
• Ability to provide quality instruction within a design curriculum.
• Flexibility in teaching approach and ability to adapt to student needs.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree or higher in design from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent accreditation.
• One full year of teaching experience at the university level or relevant professional experience in design.
