About the position

The Digital Media Director at AKA NYC is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing and executing comprehensive digital media strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions for clients in various sectors including arts, entertainment, and tourism. This position requires a deep understanding of social media platforms, data analytics, and a proven track record in delivering measurable results through paid social channels. The role involves close collaboration with clients to understand their goals and challenges, overseeing the planning and optimization of digital media campaigns, and utilizing analytics tools to measure performance and derive actionable insights.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital media strategies tailored to meet client needs.
  • Identify emerging trends and opportunities for strategic advantage.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, cultivating strong relationships.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their goals and market dynamics.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of digital media campaigns.
  • Ensure campaigns align with client objectives and deliver measurable results.
  • Utilize analytics tools to measure campaign performance and optimize strategies.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and provide regular updates to clients.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in digital media marketing.
  • Share knowledge and insights with clients and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in digital media with a proven track record in strategic planning and campaign management.
  • Strong understanding of the Facebook/Meta platform and its capabilities.
  • Exceptional data analytics skills with the ability to draw actionable insights from data.
  • Proficiency in digital media platforms including Google Ads and Facebook Ads Manager.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience in content marketing.
