About the position

The Digital Media File Organizer Associate at KAR Productions is a part-time, seasonal role focused on managing digital media assets during live dance competition events. The position involves organizing, archiving, and offloading content, while providing excellent customer service and engaging with event attendees. Candidates will receive paid training and are expected to work long hours, including weekends, while traveling to various event locations.

Responsibilities

• Loading-in and breakdown event set-up, able to lift 20 lbs.
• Providing superior customer service to event attendees.
• Engaging customers and maximizing sales at each convention event.
• Communicating inventory, supply needs, and sales to Merchandise Associate & Directors.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and healthy work environment.
• Cooperating with teammates and taking direction from event Directors.
• Organizing KAR's digital media, including downloading and intricately organizing footage.
• Setting up and operating equipment associated with the ingesting, archiving, and digitizing process.
• Working with production staff on scheduling and archiving new material created during normal operations.
• Administering and maintaining data storage platform users and file systems.

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable with handling cash and credit transactions.
• Dedicated team player.
• Retail or customer service experience is a plus.
• Photography or video camera operator experience is a plus.
• Able to work long strenuous hours.
• Must have a valid government-issued ID or Passport.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to analyze information.
