About the position

As the Digital Media Manager in the Customer Activation and Marketing function, you contribute to added customer value, a strong brand, and increased sales by overseeing an owned media strategy that drives customer development and profitable sales growth. You support in the creation of a highly commercial digital and in-store communications plan, and you partner with regional agency teams to steer the optimization of budgets, tactics, and execution of all channels, including email, push, SMS and WhatsApp. This hybrid role reports into our Regional Media Manager and is based out of New York, NY with the following direct reports: Owned Media Planners.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the owned team and strategy to drive omnichannel customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Work closely with the Omni Sales teams to align owned media efforts with the commercial plan (campaign launches, store events, expansion, promotions, and seasonal collaborations).
  • Partner with full Media team to ensure that our owned strategies sync with full-funnel marketing vision for the region.
  • Collaborate with global counterparts within Customer Activation and the Activate value stream to drive strategic developments and capabilities for email, push, SMS, and WhatsApp channels that are most relevant for the Americas region.
  • Oversee the owned media budget to ensure appropriate allocation between channels based off ROI and channel efficiency.
  • Contribute to in-season sales forecasting process, identifying opportunities to maximize traffic and revenue from owned channels.
  • Drive budgeting process for owned media in close collaboration with regional Media team leaders, CAM Business Controller, and global media team.
  • Drive the rollout of a new CDP and marketing technology stack, shaping the strategy and ensuring the effective utilization of these tools.
  • Drive changes in current ways of working, tools, and processes to improve internal operations around content development and deployment through tight collaboration with Content Operations and Digital.
  • Conduct internal and competitive reviews to identify areas of opportunity across digital media channels, proposing innovative ideas to enhance customer experience and increase engagement and ROI.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business.
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing or media roles.
  • Experience managing teams as informal and formal leader.
  • Strong understanding of CDPs and marketing technology stacks.
  • Strong understanding of email, push, and text messaging-based channels.
  • Experience planning activity calendars for multiple channels.
  • Experience setting and managing large marketing budgets.
  • Experience with media planning and analytics tools / platforms.
  • Deep interest in consumer and marketing trends and application in fashion retail.
  • Competence within digital/tech and omni ways of working.
  • Analytical mindset and proficiency in data analysis to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey marketing plans and performance reports to stakeholders across various teams.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
