About the position

The Digital Media and Marketing Program Director at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is responsible for enhancing awareness of COAHEC's services and programs among key external audiences. This role involves creating high-quality content aimed at healthcare professionals and community members, particularly in underserved areas. The director will manage a media content calendar, execute strategic marketing plans, and ensure a strong digital presence through various media formats including websites, videos, and social media. The position requires collaboration with the COAHEC team and involves attending events to capture video content, ensuring all produced materials align with branding and accessibility standards.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage a media content calendar for COAHEC.
  • Develop and execute a strategic marketing and digital content plan.
  • Produce high-quality media content including videos, podcasts, and live events.
  • Scout locations, schedule shoots, and coordinate with talent for video production.
  • Update and maintain COAHEC's website and digital assets.
  • Assess video analytics for effectiveness and engagement.
  • Support COAHEC staff in programming and event delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, public relations, communications, business administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional marketing or communications experience, including media management and production.
  • Experience in video production and website management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior experience within the University of Colorado or an academic medical institution.
  • At least 10 years of experience in marketing and communications.
  • 7 years of experience in video production for recruitment, education, and training.
