About the position

The Digital Media and Marketing Program Director at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is responsible for enhancing awareness of the services and programs offered by the Colorado Area Health Education Center (COAHEC). This role involves creating high-quality content aimed at healthcare professionals and community members, particularly in underserved areas. The director will manage a media content calendar, develop strategic marketing plans, and ensure a strong digital presence through various media formats including websites, videos, and social media. The position requires collaboration with the COAHEC team and involves attending events to capture video content.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage a robust media content calendar for COAHEC.
• Develop and execute a strategic marketing and digital content plan.
• Produce high-quality media content including videos, podcasts, and live events.
• Scout locations, schedule shoots, and coordinate with talent for video production.
• Edit videos and manage digital assets, assessing video analytics for effectiveness.
• Ensure all content aligns with COAHEC's branding and mission.
• Work independently and collaboratively with the COAHEC team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, public relations, communications, business administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional marketing or communications experience, including media management and production.
• Experience in video production and website management.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience within the University of Colorado.
• At least 10 years of experience in marketing and communications.
• 7 years of experience in video production for recruitment, education, and training.
