Responsibilities

  • Develop thoughtful, strategic media plans for advertisers based on a thorough knowledge of Macy's products and first-party data offerings.
  • Provide accurate, strategic, creative, and timely responses that meet advertisers' KPIs and objectives.
  • Plan across all media offerings, including onsite, programmatic, social, and sponsored products, ensuring plans are rooted in analysis and best practices.
  • Manage the media mix with a focus on performance, margin, and yield management.
  • Provide rationale and logic rooted in data and insights behind plan strategy to help Sales sell through.
  • Work closely with Campaign Management to ensure campaigns are deliverable and executed as planned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience working within a digital media environment.
  • Strong strategic media planning skills using Macy's products and first-party data.
  • Proficiency with digital media tools (GAM, DV360, Facebook, Nielsen @Plan, ComScore) and CRM software (Salesforce).
  • Excellent analytical skills to provide data-driven responses and manage media mix for performance and yield.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, multitasking, and prioritization abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills to articulate plan strategies and data insights to internal teams and external clients.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to function independently and as part of a team.
