About the position

The City of Chandler is seeking a part-time, temporary Digital Media Specialist - City Photographer to capture the essence of life in Chandler through photography. This role involves taking photographs at city events, of city employees, local businesses, and residents, contributing to the city's storytelling efforts. The position is flexible, requiring less than 20 hours of work per week, and is non-benefited, serving at the discretion of the department director.

Responsibilities

• Take photographs at city events and of city employees at work.
• Capture images of Chandler businesses and residents in everyday life.
• Contribute to the Digital Media Division's storytelling efforts through photography.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six months of experience with digital media photography or equivalent experience and training.
• Valid Driver's License.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom.
