About the position

Qlik Learning is seeking a Digital Media Specialist intern to fill a full-time position. This engagement is 40 hours per week for 3 months. You'll collaborate with Qlik Learning Media Team and other stakeholders to develop media content for Qlik Learning. You'll primarily be responsible for using Adobe Premiere to assemble materials such as screen captures, graphics, still images, dialogue, sound effects, raw camera footage, and other media elements into a finished video product with quality, length, and narrative elements acceptable for online deployment. You'll also be responsible for creating motion graphics and templates to complement video productions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with the media team to create Qlik Learning content for media distribution
  • Assisting with editing video projects for product training and enablement
  • Creating motion graphics and templates for media projects
  • Participating in video and/or audio recording live events
  • Learning to use AI media production tools to improve production processes
  • Developing best practices for media content creation
  • Assisting media team with other media production needs
  • Other duties as needed

Requirements

  • Rising junior or senior from an accredited university
  • At least 2 years of experience editing video content
  • At least 2 years creating motion graphics elements
  • The ability to tell a story assembling media clips together into a cohesive narrative
  • Organizational and media workflow skills
  • Tools experience: The Adobe Creative Cloud including Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition, and Media Encoder
  • Experience with video cameras, digital audio recorders, microphones, mixers, and other traditional media recording equipment
  • Examples of media content they created (reels, shorts, etc.) that use media to tell a narrative
  • A visual graphic design and typography experience, strong time management, organizational skills and an eye for detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work with tight deadlines
  • Initiative and willingness to learn
  • Interest in high tech/software industry
  • Screen capture program knowledge, such as SnagIt, Camtasia, and QuickTime a plus
