The specialist will engage in tasks such as reviewing course content, developing scripts, capturing video and audio, and graphic design to enhance the learning experience of employees. In this role, the Digital Media Specialist will produce a range of digital media, including podcasts, videos, audio recordings, photographs, and graphics for assigned projects. They will be tasked with creating, recording, and editing digital media for online transmission, ensuring that all media performs as expected and resolving any issues that may arise. The specialist will also be responsible for sourcing relevant resources, including equipment, content, and guests, to support the production process. Collaboration is key in this position, as the specialist will work closely with internal stakeholders to brainstorm and identify opportunities for incorporating multimedia and video components into various projects. They will attend corporate meetings, training sessions, and events to capture photographs and video recordings, providing essential visual content for the company. Additionally, the specialist will offer copy editing support for eLearning course development and produce graphic design materials for various projects across the organization. The Digital Media Specialist will also contribute to the learning management system (LMS) by creating videos, courses, and other training tools. Regular meetings with division managers will be held to understand the training needs of employees, particularly in relation to changes in policies, procedures, regulations, and technologies. The specialist will develop training materials based on these discussions and proactively review and update existing training materials to ensure they remain relevant and effective. To succeed in this role, the Digital Media Specialist must stay informed about the latest digital communication software, design technology, and digital media trends. They will frequently communicate project progress with the learning development manager, training team, and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
