About the position

The Digital Media Specialist at Mb Solutions, Inc. is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the City's social media outlets and website. This role involves creating digital content for various online platforms, ensuring alignment with marketing goals, and engaging with the community through effective social media strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with marketing goals.
• Create, curate, and manage engaging content across various platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Monitor social media channels for trends, mentions, and customer feedback; respond promptly and appropriately.
• Collaborate with the communications team to plan and execute campaigns, promotions, and events.
• Analyze social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends, platform updates, and best practices to keep social media presence innovative and effective.
• Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure timely and consistent messaging.
• Engage with online communities to build relationships and foster relationships in the community.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
• Creative thinking and strong attention to detail.
• Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
