About the position

The Digital Network Exploitation Analyst (DNEA), Lead Associate position at Peraton involves supporting national security by evaluating target opportunities and analyzing SIGINT and cybersecurity data. The role requires collaboration with government and military personnel to develop intelligence insights and operational plans, while also adapting to evolving technologies in the cybersecurity landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate target opportunities using all source data to understand and map target networks, and to assist in developing detailed exploitation and operations plans.
  • Analyze SIGINT and cybersecurity data at multiple levels up and down the OSI network stack, understanding logical/physical IP core infrastructure and communication devices.
  • Develop new tradecraft needed to perform analysis as technologies evolve.
  • Collaborate with government, military, and contractor personnel to develop shared understandings of intelligence needs and mission relevance.
  • Apply analytical talent to form hypotheses, assess analysis techniques, and query, merge, enrich, evaluate, and pivot within data to share insights.
  • Distill, document, contextualize, and share findings, including new tradecraft developed, with teammates and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree with 7 years relevant experience OR a Bachelor's degree with 5 years relevant experience OR a Master's degree with 3 years relevant experience OR a PhD with 2 years relevant experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant fields.
  • Relevant experience in computer or information systems design/development/analysis roles, including programming, computer/network security, and vulnerability analysis.
  • Experience with evaluating target opportunities and analyzing SIGINT and cybersecurity data at multiple levels of the OSI network stack.
  • Active TS SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required.
