About the position

The Digital Network Exploitation Analyst (DNEA), Senior Advisor role at Peraton involves supporting national security through advanced SIGINT and cybersecurity analysis. The position requires evaluating target opportunities, analyzing data across the OSI network stack, and developing new tradecraft to adapt to evolving technologies. The analyst will collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance intelligence operations and share insights derived from complex data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate target opportunities using all source data to understand and map target networks, and assist in developing detailed exploitation and operations plans.
• Analyze SIGINT and cybersecurity data at multiple levels up and down the OSI network stack, understanding logical/physical IP core infrastructure and communication devices.
• Develop new tradecraft needed to perform analysis as technologies evolve.
• Collaborate with government, military, and contractor personnel to develop shared understandings of intelligence needs and mission relevance.
• Apply analytical talent to form hypotheses, assess analysis techniques, and query, merge, enrich, evaluate, and pivot within data to share insights.
• Distill, document, contextualize, and share findings, including new tradecraft developed, with teammates and intelligence consumers.

Requirements

• 7 years' applicable experience with a PhD, OR 9 years' applicable experience with a master's degree, OR 11 years' applicable experience with a bachelor's degree, OR 13 years' applicable experience with an associate degree.
• Relevant experience in computer or information systems design/development/analysis roles, including engineering hardware/software, programming, computer/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance, systems engineering, and/or network and systems administration.
• Experience evaluating target opportunities using all source data to understand and map target networks.
• Experience analyzing SIGINT and cybersecurity data at multiple levels up and down the OSI network stack.
• Knowledge of developing new tradecraft needed for analysis as technologies evolve.
• Ability to apply analytical talent to form hypotheses and choose analysis techniques.
• Ability to distill, document, contextualize, and share findings with stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

• Completion of military training in a relevant area such as JCAC may be considered towards the relevant experience requirement.
• Degree in Mathematics may be considered relevant if it includes foundational CS areas.
