About the position

The Digital Network Exploitation Analyst (DNEA) at BlueHalo plays a crucial role in advancing the mission of the Intelligence Community (IC) by utilizing advanced cyber techniques to analyze and identify protocols on target networks. This position requires expertise in both offensive and defensive cyber operations, as well as the ability to catalog communications technologies, even when automated tools fail. The DNEA will contribute to innovative solutions and tackle complex challenges in the cyber domain.

Responsibilities

• Identify known protocols and analyze unknown protocols on target networks.
• Author a TEXTPRO based on analysis findings.
• Recognize standard protocols even when tools fail to do so.
• Catalog all communications technologies visible in a collection access, even when automated tools fail.

Requirements

• 11 years of experience in computer or information systems design, development, or analysis.
• Experience in engineering hardware and/or software, programming, computer/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance, systems engineering, and/or network and systems administration.
• Completion of military training in a relevant area such as JCAC (Joint Cyber Analysis Course) will be considered towards the relevant experience requirement.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related fields (Engineering, Mathematics) with a concentration in foundational CS areas such as algorithms, computer architecture, programming methodologies and languages, data structures, logic and computation, and advanced mathematics.

• Advanced proficiency with tools such as PSKSWING, DVT, XKS, pktproc2, Wireshark, Vintage Harvest, and BROADSKY TRAILMAPPER.
