About the position

As a Digital Solutions Product Manager at Komatsu, you will play a crucial role in enhancing digital experiences for user communities, specifically focusing on the My Komatsu member network. This position involves developing a strategic approach to user engagement, overseeing the implementation of user profiles, onboarding processes, and personalized dashboards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure user-centered design principles are adhered to while managing digital products throughout their lifecycle. Your efforts will drive increased user engagement and sales across the My Komatsu network, leveraging new technologies to deliver value to users.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Digital Product Managers to design, develop, and deploy digital solutions aligned with organizational goals.
  • Partner with Digital Product Managers and Analysts to define and execute product visions and strategies across the member network.
  • Identify integration opportunities based on user needs and journeys.
  • Develop and maintain strategic digital product roadmaps focusing on optimizations and new functionalities.
  • Ensure continuous improvement based on user feedback and industry trends.
  • Outline objectives, define key performance indicators, and align stakeholder expectations.
  • Develop a deep understanding of users and maintain user profiles for the My Komatsu network.
  • Lead the registration and onboarding experience across persona groups.
  • Define the personalized member network dashboard experience for all persona groups.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across product lifecycle phases.
  • Develop user acceptance testing plans and validate product requirements during testing phases.
  • Lead the strategy and implementation of a loyalty and rewards program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, computer science, UX design, or a related field.
  • Five plus years in software design/development, digital product management, or related experience preferred.
  • Ability to identify customers' true underlying business needs and anticipate future needs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex details clearly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis and visualization.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Experience developing user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Knowledge of the heavy equipment, construction, or mining industry is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Experience with analytics platforms.
