About the position

The Digital Onboarding Specialist at Summit Credit Union is responsible for providing exceptional service to new members by discussing various products and services, including deposit accounts and loan solutions. The role focuses on enhancing members' financial well-being while ensuring compliance with credit union policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Engage in discussions with new members about products and services.
• Provide expert advice on lending solutions tailored to members' needs.
• Ensure successful onboarding of new members to foster loyalty and long-term relationships.
• Achieve service and sales metrics through structured curriculum and coaching.
• Participate in departmental initiatives to improve overall operations.
• Maintain compliance with BSA, OFAC, and USA Patriot Act requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of lending experience required.
• Sales experience required.
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of deposit accounts and loan products.
• Ability to adapt to changing situations in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of basic business math for calculations related to loans.
• Ability to accept loan applications and perform routine maintenance on consumer loans.
• Must have or be able to attain a Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) number.
