Responsibilities
- Analyze digital footprints to identify suspects in criminal investigations.
- Support investigative teams with technical expertise on the use of technology by criminals.
- Investigate and address technologically sophisticated adversaries.
- Utilize knowledge of networking, routing protocols, and network security methodologies in investigations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and experience including 24 course hours in a related field.
- Familiarity with different operating systems and physical computer components.
- Experience with virtual machines and scripting.
- Knowledge of networking and routing protocols.
- Understanding of network security methodologies and operations of various communications media.
- Familiarity with common computer/network infections and attack methods.
