The Digital Operations Systems Analyst is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the health of systems in the Brooks digital storefront architecture, as well as evaluating operational readiness and response. You will develop alert mechanisms for critical systems, manage data flow to incident response platforms, and report regularly on defined KPIs around site performance and DevOps efficiency. You will work with internal teams to produce iterative solutions for business needs and provide recommendations for technical improvement of existing architecture. You will provide ad-hoc incident management as needed for critical issues which affect the business health of Brooks' digital offerings. You will contribute to Brooks' digital engagement strategy as a subject matter expert in storefront systems.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report health and status of internal and partner systems in Brooks digital storefront architecture
  • Develop and refine alerting for critical systems to facilitate rapid response
  • Report on site performance, development/deployment efficiencies, and incident resolution KPIs at regular cadences, incorporating feedback into future reports
  • Serve as a liaison between Digital Operations and IT, Customer Service, and eCommerce analytics teams across Brooks, reporting on metrics and receiving feedback
  • Identify and design improvements and propose solutions for enhancement opportunities observed through analysis
  • Present and visualize data gathered from various systems (Jira, mPulse, SpeedCurve, Salesforce Commerce Cloud) in order to identify improvement opportunities
  • Administrate user access and roles for assigned systems, and facilitate working improvements according to user need
  • Implement tools to increase system visibility and decrease vulnerabilities
  • Lend subject matter expertise to broader IT initiatives across the digital engagement model
  • Participate in on-call incident response communications as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Business, Systems Administration, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a Systems Analyst, Business Analyst role or the equivalent
  • Demonstrated familiarity with data analysis, data visualization, and report generation solutions; Tableau Cloud or PowerBI experience preferred
  • Working knowledge and experience in agile and waterfall methodologies with Kanban experience being paramount
  • Conversant knowledge using web development technologies in an eCommerce environment with Salesforce Commerce Cloud knowledge being a big plus
  • Exceptional active and critical listening skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that inspire and build trust resulting in effective working relationships across the company
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and balance priorities, to work both independently and as part of the team, and to manage time
  • Keen attention to detail in planning, organization, and execution of tasks, while still seeing the big picture and understanding how all the pieces fit together and affect one another
