About the position

BASIS Ed Texas is seeking a Digital Performance Manager to join our growing team in Scottsdale, AZ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and executing marketing campaigns while collaborating with various teams. This role requires a balance of day-to-day marketing activities and long-term strategic planning, all while meeting the dynamic needs of our schools under tight deadlines. The Digital Performance Manager should be highly motivated, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and possess excellent analytical, organizational, time management, and communication skills. This position is hybrid, requiring part of the week to be spent at our Scottsdale office. BASIS is a network of high-performing K-12 charter schools that provides a rigorous academic program designed to prepare students for success in top colleges and universities. Our Marketing & Creative Services department acts as the in-house advertising agency for the Texas and Arkansas regions, where you will collaborate with a team of marketers and designers to create compelling integrated, regional multi-channel campaigns and impactful marketing materials. In this role, you will establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across paid channels and their audience segments. You will lead the execution of marketing programs from inception to completion, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration. Your responsibilities will include developing campaign strategies across multiple channels such as paid search, paid social media, paid media, programmatic, and retargeting. You will analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies. Additionally, you will create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across various platforms, extracting key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics. You will partner with internal and agency marketing teams, as well as creative and website teams, to design, test, and evolve lead-nurturing tactics that drive student enrollment and improve funnel conversion rates.

Responsibilities

  • Help develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and PPC, including digital, audio and video assets.
  • Conceptualize and execute on multichannel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging in all channels.
  • Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase conversions, and generate more qualified interest.
  • Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordingly.
  • Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets.
  • Oversee the marketing calendar to deliver targeted activation across multiple campaigns and initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in performance marketing with responsibility for campaign management
  • Proven success in developing marketing plans and campaigns
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
  • Metrics-driven marketing mind with an eye for creativity
  • Proficiency with advertiser platforms tools (Google Ads, Meta Ads)
  • Experience with marketing analytics (Google Analytics), project management (Asana, Trello, Jira) and CMS tools (Wordpress, Webflow)
  • Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics) and BI tools (Tableau)
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in marketing, business, or related field; education industry preferred
