About the position

Grand Canyon University is seeking part-time adjunct faculty for the College of Arts and Media to teach Digital Photography II at the Phoenix campus. This role involves face-to-face instruction, focusing on advanced photography techniques and their application in commercial advertising and social media. The position emphasizes innovative teaching strategies and student engagement, aligning with the university's mission and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate classroom lectures and discussions incorporating innovative teaching strategies.

• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University.

Requirements

• Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Design/Photography or Graphic Design/Photography Certification, industry experience, and approval by Dean, or 2 years of university instruction experience.
• Preferred: Master's or other terminal degree and 2 years of university instruction experience.
