About the position

The Digital PMO and Change Senior Manager at Schneider Electric is a key leadership role responsible for managing and supporting the North America Digital - Global Supply Chain and ERP (SAP) projects. This position focuses on facilitating project management processes, driving change management initiatives, and ensuring the effective execution of a portfolio of projects. The role emphasizes continuous improvement and the development of standardized PMO processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement standardized PMO processes to ensure uniformity and consistency in execution.
  • Identify and implement project management tools and technologies to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Lead change management initiatives to ensure seamless adoption of new project management processes and tools.
  • Serve as a consultant, mentor, and advisor in the application of project management tools and methods.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the project management team.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge repositories and resources for PMO.
  • Establish metrics to track the effectiveness of PMO practices.
  • Benchmark and continuously improve the PM processes, standards, and tools based on best practices and industry trends.
  • Facilitate, mediate and/or arbitrate between and/or among Program Managers, Core Team members, Functional Managers, and Review team members regarding process optimization.
  • Coach Program Managers, Core Team Members, Functional Managers, Leadership Team members, and Project Steering Committee on process competencies and execution.
  • Directly manage large, complex projects/programs as needed.
  • Help manage risks and dependencies.
  • Escalate and track impediments.
  • Provide input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, business administration, or related field.
  • 10+ years' experience in a program management role with a product development or manufacturing focus.
  • Prior experience of leading a Complex ERP (SAP) Transformation / Digital transformation program.
  • Thorough understanding of the product development process and phase gate methodology.
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of organization including C-level executives and technical staff.
